Deciphering Whose Journey Is It?

Whether someone likes your or not and what they think about you is not YOUR business. Its God's business and that’s not your journey, it’s theirs. Therefore, it’s not your job to worry about it.

Allow them the space for their journey and know that it has nothing to do with you personally. We all play parts in each others life story and we are catalysts that spark the motivation for growth within the soul.s journey (whether is is yours or theirs). You do not know the part you are playing and why. Only God knows that. What we can do is understand that worrying about it or trying to change it by justifying ourselves will attract more momentum in the opposite direction of what we are seeking to achieve. We cannot change the thoughts of others and trying with force will only make it worse.

Instead, keep in your heart only love because your happiness is most important and it’s not your job to make others like you or to make them happy, although they may think it is. Your only job is to love yourself unconditionally and thus you will find true happiness. External validation is not lasting and it becomes addicting. To find happiness, you must “turn the other cheek” to others thoughts of you and to find the courage to go within yourself to shatter old beliefs that made you feel like you have to please them in the first place.
