Así conocí al holandés
Me abandoné a sus designios
y exilié mi corazón en su cofre.
Ahora me enfrento a las tempestades.
No hay temor, no hay sentimientos.
Sólo una leve sensación que algo estuvo allí
en el centro del abismo mi pecho vacío.
Sin ningún pesar navego y canto al mar, a la luna y a las estrellas.
No deseo retornar a tierra, no deseo tomar agua dulce
no deseo aclamarte como mi Diosa,
pues si lo hago Calipso,
temo verter sobre ti mi ira y mi pasión...
