Has dejado las piedras en la arena
pero el mar las ha alcanzado.
No te duermas tan temprano Azucena
que me dejas muy desconsolado
esperando que esta noche ya no llueva
aunque sea el mes de mayo.
Todavía me decías
que esperabas el día en que te llevara al mar
a ver del atardecer al ocaso
y hoy me dices que te vas,
que ya lo venías planeando,
que te veías con Fernando
mientras me iba a pescar.
y hoy de andar tras de ti
no me da la gana
mejor me voy con tu hermana
para nunca mas llorar.
You have left the stones in the sand
but the sea has reached them.
Don't fall asleep so early Azucena
that you leave me very heartbroken
hoping that it won't rain tonight
even if it is the month of May.
You still told me
that you were waiting for the day when I would take you to the sea
to see from sunset to the midnight
and today you tell me you're leaving,
that you had already been planning,
that you saw with Fernando
while I went fishing
and today of chasing after you
I do not want to
I better go with your sister
to never cry again.
