Soy la elegida / I am the chosen one

SPANISH VERSION

Tras mucho tiempo pensando en qué es lo que tengo que hacer en esta vida, me he dado cuenta de que soy la elegida. Soy la elegida para cambiar el mundo, mi mundo.

En las películas de Hollywood nos han enseñado, que siempre hay un elegido, que salva al mundo, se lleva los aplausos, se sacrifica, y ¿por qué no? Tiene superpoderes.

Pero no todos los elegidos llevan capa ni salen en las películas. No todos los elegidos son conocidos mundialmente, porque yo no lo soy y yo soy la elegida. Y tú tambien lo eres.

Eres el elegido, para tomar el timón de tu vida y de tu mundo. Quizá tu gloria no sea relatada en una novela o un guión
cinematográfico, pero eres el elegido, el que cambiará las cosas.

Todos tenemos una misión, un deber, un destino, que escrito o no, es lo que estamos elegidos a hacer. Cada uno de nosotros tenemos nuestro papel en este mundo y sin él, no sería lo mismo. Pero no nos confundamos, esto no significa que tu vida esté predicha, de forma que debas resignarte a vivirla. No es una misión pasiva. Es una misión que nos crece desde lo más recóndito de nosotros mismos, que nos llama. Nos dice que ese es nuestro lugar y que debemos luchar para conseguir llegar hasta él, porque está diseñado a nuestra imagen, solo nosotros podemos alcanzarlo.

Yo soy la elegida para hacer de mi vida una bendición para todos, para cambiar mi mundo y el de los que me rodean, para ser yo y nadie más. Quizá no tenga una fuerza que levante camiones, pero sí tengo la fuerza de voluntad que me hace afrontar cada día, malo o bueno, con alegría y optimismo. Quizá no tenga ojos que proyecten rayos láser, pero tengo ojos, que ven el dolor ajeno e intentan ponerle solución. Quizá no tenga mi futuro escrito en un libro profético, pero quedará escrito en las vidas de todos aquellos a los que ame. Por que yo, y solo yo puedo llevar a cabo el futuro que me espera, porque al final, las misiones de los elegidos de Hollywood duran tan solo un par de horas, pero la mía, durará toda la vida.

ENGLISH VERSION

After a long time thinking about what I have to do in this life, I have realized that I am the chosen one. I am the one chosen to change the world, my world.

In Hollywood films we have been taught that there is always a chosen one, that saves the world, gets the applause, sacifices himself, and, why not? Has superpowers.

But not all the chosen ones wear a cape or appear on films. Not all the chosen ones are known worldwide, because I am not and I am the chosen one. And so are you.

You are the chosen one, to be at the helm of your life and your world. Maybe your glory will not be narrated on a novel or
a script, but you are the chosen one, the one that will change it all.

All of us have a mission, a duty, a destiny, that written or not, it is what we have been chosen to do. Each of us have a role in this world and without it, it would not be the same. But do not get me wrong, this does not mean that your life is already predicted in a way that you just have to accept it and live it. It is not a passive mission. It is a mission that grows up from the deepest part of ourselves, that calls us. It tells us that this is our place and that we have to fight our way to the top, because it is designed just for us, we are the only ones capable of reaching it.

I am the one chosen to make my life a blessing to everyone, to change the world, and the world of everyone around, the
chosen to be me and nobody else. Maybe I do not have the strenght to lift lorries, but I have the strenght of will that makes me face everyday, good or bad, with joy and optimism. Maybe I do not have eyes that can shoot laser beams, but I have eyes, that see other peoples’ pain and try to end it up. Maybe I do not have my future written in the stars, but it will be written in the lives of all those people that I love. Because I am the only one who can accomplish the future that awaits me, because at the end, al the Hollywood’s missions last a few hours, but mine will last for life.
