Lo llamamos "Parque La Aguada" o simplemente "La Aguada".
¡Se ve tan seco estos días! Los cielos cada vez más nublados de Caracas comienzan a anunciar la próxima temporada de lluvias.
Tomé estas fotos el domingo 5 de Mayo. Desde el recuerdo, la meditación y la perspectiva de ese niño interior que nunca termina de irse.
Así:
El tobogán, no la montaña, gobierna el lugar.
El mástil más alto de todos apunta al cielo azul.
El avión, libre y ajeno a la gravedad.
Miramos el mundo desde túneles y ventanas circulares.
"A simple vista, nada pasa.
Mas todo acontece, todo se mueve:
El avispero, pirámides en un tronco,
Mangos verdes, cayendo de troncos gemelos ... "

We call it "Parque La Aguada" or just "La Aguada".
It's looking so dry these days! Ever more overcast skies in Caracas begin to announce the upcoming rain season.
I took these photos on Sunday 5. Moved by memories, meditation and the perspective of that inner child we always carry with us.
So:
The slide, not the mountain, rules the place.
The tallest mast of all, points to the blue sky.
The airplane, free and oblivious to gravity.
We look at the world from tunnels and circular windows.
"At first glance, nothing happens.
But everything is taking place at this very moment, everything is moving:
The hornet's nest, pyramids on a tree trunk,
Green mangoes, falling from twin tree trunks ... "

El Parque la Aguada está ubicado en El Marqués, una urbanización del noreste de Caracas. Colinda con la "Cota Mil" (Av. Boyacá), una autopista que corre a los pies del Ávila. Aunque no es un parque extenso es muy acogedor, especialmente cuando se muestra en todo su verdor. Su nombre completo es Parque Rómulo Gallegos, Sector La Aguada.
Parque La Aguada is located in El Marqués, a residential neighborhood of northeast Caracas, adjoining the highway "Cota Mil" (Av. Boyacá) at the foot of Avila mountain. A small but inviting place, especially in all its greenery. Its official name is Parque Rómulo Gallegos, Sector La Aguada.
