"And they bear fruit with perseverance", in another version it says "And as they persevere, they produce a good harvest".
For a concrete and successful harvest it is necessary to persist in it, not just to wait with arms crossed, that waiting implies working, believing, seeing things that are not as if they were, facing many obstacles, etc. the sum of all this is the process for the good result. I want to share a fragment of a story that we find in 2 Kings 2: , 4, 6
And Elijah said to Elisha: Stay here now, because the Lord has sent me to Bethel. And Eliseo said: Jehovah lives, and your soul lives, that I will not leave you. So they went down to Bethel
And Elijah said to him again: Elisha, stay here now, because the Lord has sent me to Jericho. And he said: Jehovah lives, and your soul lives, that I will not leave you. So they came to Jericho.
And Elijah said to him: I beg you to stay here, because the Lord has sent me to the Jordan. And he said: Jehovah lives, and your soul lives, that I will not leave you. So they were both.
What do these three passages have in common? I want to highlight Eliseo's attitude before his fervent desire, he proposed NOT to leave Elías, to accompany him YES or YES. Eliseo moved by that desire. Which one?
When they had passed, Elijah said to Elisha: Ask what you want me to do for you, before I am taken away from you. And Eliseo said: I beg you that a double portion of your spirit be upon me.
2 Kings 2:9
Eliseo had a clear goal, his vision was clear, it was concrete. This allowed him to be specific and determined to get what he wanted. Did he get it?
Of course, since Elijah was separated from him and as promised "HE RECEIVED HIM", Elisha began to perform powerful works in the eyes of others glorifying God. I invite you to take your place and take this example of perseverance, you and I have the same opportunities.

Mas la que cayó en buena tierra, éstos son los que con corazón bueno y recto retienen la palabra oída, y dan fruto con perseverancia.
Lucas 8:15
"Y dan fruto con perseverancia", en otra versión dice "Y como perseveran, producen una buena cosecha".
Para una cosecha concreta y exitosa es necesario persistir en ello, no solo esperar de brazos cruzado, esa espera implica trabajar, creer, ver las cosas que no son como si fuese, hacer frente a muchos obstáculos, etc. la suma de todo ello es el proceso para el buen resultado. Quiero compartir un fragmento de una historia que encontramos en 2 Reyes 2: , 4, 6
Y dijo Elías a Eliseo: Quédate ahora aquí, porque Jehová me ha enviado a Bet-el. Y Eliseo dijo: Vive Jehová, y vive tu alma, que no te dejaré. Descendieron, pues, a Bet-el
Y Elías le volvió a decir: Eliseo, quédate aquí ahora, porque Jehová me ha enviado a Jericó. Y él dijo: Vive Jehová, y vive tu alma, que no te dejaré. Vinieron, pues, a Jericó.
Y Elías le dijo: Te ruego que te quedes aquí, porque Jehová me ha enviado al Jordán. Y él dijo: Vive Jehová, y vive tu alma, que no te dejaré. Fueron, pues, ambos.
¿Que tienen en común estos tres pasajes? Quiero resaltar la actitud de Eliseo ante su deseo ferviente, se propuso NO dejar a Elías, a acompañarle SI o Si. Eliseo movido por ese deseo ¿Cual?
Cuando habían pasado, Elías dijo a Eliseo: Pide lo que quieras que haga por ti, antes que yo sea quitado de ti. Y dijo Eliseo: Te ruego que una doble porción de tu espíritu sea sobre mí.
2 Reyes 2:9
Eliseo tenía un objetivo claro, su visión era clara, era concreto. Esto le permitió ser específico y determinante en obtener lo que deseaba. ¿Lo consiguió?
Claro, desde que Elías fue apartado de él y como le fue prometido "LO RECIBIÓ", Eliseo comenzó a realizar las obras poderosas ente los ojos de los demás glorificando a Dios. Te invito a tomar tu lugar y tomar este ejemplo de perseverancia, tu y yo tenemos las mismas oportunidades.
