Here I am again, after three months of absence due to my blog, increased work, removals, pandemic and endless reasons that you can imagine but in this case I come to tell you about my moving experience, and the tips that I bring you to make the move as easy as possible.
Aqui estoy de nuevo, tras tres meses de ausencia por mi blog, aumento de trabajo mudanzas pandemia y un sin fin de motivos que ya se imaginaran pero en este caso vengo a contarles sobre mi experiencia de mudanza, y los tips que les traigo para lograr la mudanza lo mas fácil posible.
To put you in context, I arrived in Uruguay a year and three months ago, to a residence where I basically had to reduce my life to one room, share bathrooms and kitchen with the rest of the people who lived in the other rooms, we were generally 11 people in the house.
Finally two months ago, fulfilling a series of requirements of this country such as work seniority for guarantees among other things, we managed to move to a two-bedroom house and the truth is that I feel very happy to move forward, to have a house and buy little to little things that we have needed.
We were lucky enough to rent a house that was already furnished, not fully but, with what we needed to live, over the course of these two months we have bought household items like never before, a double bed, wardrobe, desk and some others things that were needed.
Para ponerlos en contexto, llegue a Uruguay hace un año y tres meses, a una residencia donde básicamente debía reducir mi vida a un cuarto, compartir baños y cocina con el resto de las personas que vivian en los otros cuartos por lo general éramos 11 personas en la casa.
Finalmente hace dos meses, cumpliendo una serie de requisitos de este pais como antigüedad laboral para garantías entre otras cosas, logramos mudarnos a una casa de dos habitaciones y la verdad que me siento muy feliz de ir avanzando, de tener una casa y comprar poco a poco las cosas que nos han hecho falta.
Tuvimos la suerte de alquilar una casa que ya estaba amoblada, no a su totalidad pero si lo necesario para vivir, en el transcurso de estos dos meses hemos comprado cosas de hogar como nunca antes, cama matrimonial, ropero, escritorio y algunas otras cosas que hacían falta.
One of the most important things to make an efficient move is to visualize the spaces of the new house to determine where the things that you are going to transport will go, starting from that, organize the boxes and suitcases by room, that is, everything that goes in the kitchen in a box, everything that goes in the main room in another box and so on so that when unpacking is more efficient and you find all the things.
Una de las cosas mas importantes para hacer una mudanza eficiente el visualizar los espacios de la nueva casa para determinar en que lugar irán las cosas que vas a transportar, partiendo de eso organiza las cajas y maletas por habitación, es decir todo lo que va en la cocina en una caja, todo lo que va en el cuarto principal en otra caja y así sucesivamente para que al momento de desempacar sea mas eficiente y encuentres todas las cosas.
Another very important point is that you do not take all those things that you no longer use, you can give them away or sell them but it does not make sense that you store and then unpack things that you no longer use, they are damaged and they will take up space in your new home.
Otro punto bastante importante es que no te lleves todas esas cosas que ya no usas, puedes regalarlas o venderlas pero no tiene sentido que almacenes y luego desempaques cosas que ya no uses, están dañadas y te van a ocupar espacio en tu nuevo hogar.
It is good to remember that before moving in it is easier to do a thorough cleaning of the new home, since there are few things you can clean and paint your home with greater comfort, likewise, the things that you are packing organize them well, clean them before storing them and ensure that nothing breaks on the way, wrapping fragile things with paper or cloth.
Es bueno recordar que antes de mudarte en mas fácil hacer una limpieza a fondo del nuevo hogar, al haber pocas cosas puedes limpiar y pintar tu hogar con mayor comodidad, así mismo, las cosas que vas empaquetando organízalas bien, límpialas antes de guardarlas y asegura de que nada se rompa en el camino, envolviendo con papel o tela las cosas frágiles.
