I have never thought of using honey with pupusas!
I will have to try that.
My father was a bee keeper when I was really young, so we used a LOT of honey back then. All our baking was done with honey -- YUM!

    Please do not do it.
    They are not pupusas, they are just tortillas without stuffing. Not pork, cheese, beans nothing only tortillas alone, with honey
    You can uses tortillas for taco too, if you remember here in El Salvador the corn tortillas with wich we accompany our meals.
    those hot tortillas fresh out of the comal, are those with dad we eat honey very very delicious.
    I am glad to know that you grow up enjoying the honey very fresh from your fathers beekeeping activity, i imagine you biting the combs full of honey, it is the best part of your childhood.
    When i was a child i too enjoy its because the lady beekeeper was a friend of my mom and she gave us the pieces of honeycomb to enjoy.
