I think they have a wrong perception about steemit. I think they have been told they will get money to write comments and make blogs. This is why they plaster comments everywhere with a hope that they can earn some money. I think they presume this is an automated system which pays them for writing anything but that is so wrong.
I think these new users need to know that this is not acceptable. I could see myself that there are many senior steemians who are making posts on this topics. I hope things change and people realize that money doesnot come free, that there is no such thing as free lunch. You have to earn it with hard work.
