I'm here to cleanup this place!
I'm so sick of seeing crap all over Steemit and not having anybody do anything about it. Seriously, work together to remove some of this shit! This includes spam, abuse, plagiarism, hate.. or just plain ole shit. Including these folks that think that the rewards pool is somehow gonna deplete itself and so they're running around trying to scare the community with their conspiracy theories! The rewards pool is just fine folks.. get a grip. A little logic and research on the rewards pool would teach ya that ain't gonna happen.
Now, back to the matter at hand. I'm here to make sure no user on the Steem blockchain feels abused or spammed. That's my biggest concern. If you've been abused or your post has been spammed please let us know so that we can help!
You are now systematically downvoting every post that @tranparencybot creates. Just so you know, I will simply upvote each of these posts in an equal and greater measure.
It would appear that you have targeted @transparencybot and have a personal vendette against me. That is your choice (for a little while longer), but it will of course be the community's choice to disagree with your methods, which at this point; is truly one of the most distasteful displays of "power" I have yet to see on this platform.

@berniesanders great to meet you. I will not give up but I will change. People are not bothered by @transparencybot as much as you would think so i'm not downvoting all there posts. I only will downvote when people complain to them. So what would you rather me look out for? I can assist you or anybody else who has the spam or abuse issues. And we can do this in a reasonable manor.
Dude, @iflagshit, if you claim to be fighting spam, then why have you just downvoted my post becasue i reported some comment spammer to @abusereports? Remove your flag. There is no reason for it. Plus that is many hours work, and quality.

You are not making sense. You flagged my comment and I was not supportive of @abusereports actions. In one sense you are correct but I believe in another you are going about it wrongly. You can't fight spam with spam. can you? It may be better to engage in a conversation and attempt to bring change differently. Just my suggestion.
@iflagshit, If you are fighting spam, you are my friend. And i will upvote you any time becasue i belive you are good for steemit. If @abusereports is fighting spam, they are my friends, and i will upvote them anytime, because they are good for steemit.
On that note. I will leave it to your own better judgment on what course to follow regarding my post which you have downvoted without reason.
Removing my vote would mean that i am anti-spam accounts. And i cannot do that. If any thing, it would equally mean that i stop reporting abuse/spam to @steemcleaners which i frequently do.
It would also mean that i stop upvoting bots like @cheetah which i find useful in filtering out plagiarized content. Again i cannot, and will not do that.
It is up to you to decide what you will do with your downvote on my blog. But i am of the humble opinion, that ou remove it, as it has no rational explanation.

@iflagshit has a point to make.. there should be no monopoly on what is and what is not spam. transparencybot may be doing something that appears neutral, but consider this: what is actionable and what is not about what he reveals, remains in the hands of a few. The issue is quite complex. The answers are not simple.
Having said all that - I was commenting to oppose what badcontent was doing last week, and i got punished with a flag on one of my unrelated posts.. why? because a large witness felt it is his right to abuse the flag feature. Take a look here
Do you think that is right? I disagree with a bot which may be making mistakes and harming people unfairly, then I am punished with a flag on unrelated and fairly good post? It is out of hand.
We must fight spam yes.. But I firmly oppose fighting abuse with abusive methods. An intelligent soluton shold be found.
I don't agree with spam buti also don't agree with saying someone is guilty of spam just because he bought a vote or upvoted himself at the very last minute.
Why nt make the payout 3.5 days after the 7th day? And why not have a transparent democratic process to screen for spam in that 3.5 days after 7th day? Surely we are more intelligent than going around poking each other haphazardly.
You argument here is way too new for me. I have only been sucked into this whole thing because i happened to report a comment spammer, and upvote @abusereports, which, in the spirit of discouraging spam, seems the only sensible thing to do.

Ironically, the first post of mine that this guy flagged was about a spam ring with over 7000 accounts that has already taken about $22,000 - which is itself a repeat of an operation that reportedly made off with $80,000. It also distracted me from investigating a series of accounts who are earning $10 in bidbot votes on each of hundreds of one-word comments on old posts.
I guess I need to be more careful in choosing my battles - publicly at least.
Lets just hope that people don't start flagging the @sadkitten bot that has been set up to counter excessive self-upvoting.
You were on @smartsteem's blacklist for a reason. You are basically bribing people for upvotes but your posts have little substance.
It's the same damn thing over and over again. How about posting something with quality instead of using gimmicks? The only reason you are making it is you are hyping the posts up with bots and then luring people in with the expectation for upvotes. It's not anything special. You are essentially upvote farming.

The work is inside the posts. Ate 6-8hrs/day easy and at least I am giving out couple hundred $ per month to the minnows. The only reason that I have in Smartsteem's blacklist because I have posted more than 6 posts per day. If you do not like what I am doing, it is just fine, someone else will do. Everyone has their own thinking.
Time will tell whether @transparencybot's intentions are pure. He appears to be willing to take suggestions and act on them.
