I don't think the main problem is the spam. It's the fact that the rubbish kills the visibility of good posts. Some curating groups spend countless hours trying to find those rare gems between the piles of horrible garbage. I applaud them.

But to advance the platform towards a more rewarding experience, I think we should have some more refining details in the feed settings.

If I could have different feeds, based upon reputation, country of origin, amount of SP, time on platform, or even just customized feeds of certain lists based on other criteria that would help a lot.

Also, the concept that after 7 days all interaction with a blog becomes unrewarded, causes content to gravitate towards fleeting temporary stuff.

In short, as a platform we get what we reward. Let's try to stop rewarding spam.
