My dear @liondani, your video is beautiful. Do you know what? My dream is to travel with one of these only once in my life. I know it's a very strange dream, but in my life I've learned what they say never say never, so I hope my dream one day will come true.
What I found from researching about Elon is that he starts by defining a goal and he puts a lot of effort into understanding what that goal is and why it is a good and valid goal. His goal, as I see it, has not changed from the day 1. His goal was to make mankind a multi planetary species and to do that he had to first solve the transportation problem.
Once he has a goal, his next step is to learn as much about the topic at hand as possible from as many sources as possible. He is by far the single smartest person that I have ever researched about ... period. I can't estimate his IQ but he is very very intelligent. And not the typical egg head kind of smart. He has a real applied mind. He literally sucks the knowledge and experience out of people that he is around. These were words of his co-worker "He borrowed all of my college texts on rocket propulsion when we first started working together in 2001. We also hired as many of my colleagues in the rocket and spacecraft business that were willing to consult with him. It was like a gigantic spaceapalooza. At that point we were not talking about building a rocket ourselves, only launching a privately funded mission to Mars. I found out later that he was talking to a bunch of other people about rocket designs and collaborating on some spreadsheet level systems designs for launchers. Once our dealings with the Russians fell apart, he decided to build his own rocket and this was the genesis of SpaceX."
So I am going to suggest that he is successful not because his visions are grand, not because he is extraordinarily smart and not because he works incredibly hard. All of those things are true. The one major important distinction that sets him apart is his inability to consider failure. It simply is not even in his thought process. He cannot conceive of failure and that is truly remarkable. It doesn't matter if its going up against the banking system (Paypal), going up against the entire aerospace industry (SpaceX) or going up against the US auto industry (Tesla). He can't imagine NOT succeeding and that is a very critical trait that leads him ultimately to success.
He would surely gain nothing, going to heaven should be everyone's priority, but so many people don't know about that and i will try to reach as many people i can.
To the question, “What will a man give in exchange for his soul?” Satan would have us sell our lives for the candy bars and championships of this world. The Savior, however, calls us, without price, to exchange our sins, to take upon us His countenance, and to take that into the hearts of those within our reach. Surely a man is know by good things he does. Money is of no use if a person does not does good deeds such as helping needy. Money can't be taken in heaven or hell it's your good karma that decides . So I take a lot of motivation from you sir @liondani because you have inspired many . And also Bill gates he is doing a lot of good things such as he has started NGO that is helping people in tribes of Africa generating employment...

I think humanity should focus on how we can live happily on earth. If they "invested" the money wisely that they already used/"wasted" for space exploration, then we would live in a better world for sure right now.

In fact its been written in "Chronicles from the Future" that humanity will reach Mars in the future and colonize the planet, but after a heavy meteorological event this colony will be destroyed and only a few of the people there will manage to come back to Earth.
That will be the first and last attempt of the humanity to colonize an extraterrestrial planet. Unfortunately, human beings today have lost their connection with God, but there is a hope somewhere in the future that they will find their way to Him.
What if instead of wasting such a big amount of money to install a low orbit telecommunications system, give it to building schools for promoting arts and human oriented studies so the future of humans will be more spiritual oriented instead of material centered?
Again, somewhere in the far future there is a hope for that to happen.
Until then we have to think how can we change our thoughts to a brighter ones and instead of promoting pain and misery and everything that makes a human look like a "Sinful" disoriented creature start to promote love and compassion dreaming and happiness.
