This is a major achievement but you have to ask yourself is the money being well spent? Sure there are reasons for space travel and research but in light of unemployment rates, homelessness and healthcare cost inflation in the US. Can this be justified?
There is probably nothing anyone can do to divert the US government from its war and space funding but you have to wonder, is it worth it?
