Yes, Space Junk is a problem that needs to be addressed.. but I have to do a little disagree here... someone has suggested shooting debris to the sun, or bring it back to earth... both ideas sound silly to me... What really needs done, is a collection ship, that collects what it finds out in space, and recycles/repurposes it instead of wasting lots of easily used natural resources.. I believe the first one to build a recycling plant in space is going to be rich.. I'm thinking about it.. maybe I"ll be first.. anyone interested in joining the project???

I think the problem (besides the technical issues of collecting something flying at 20,000 mph) is the actual amount of material is not really that much. If you recycled all the space junk, it would probably not be worth the cost it took to fly into space in the first place.
