Sounds like a great idea living in space, but I hate to be the bearer of bad news humans have never being into space, no man has ever being to the moon and it isn't going to happen any thing soon. Listen to this NASA engineer talking about the issue with the Van Allen Belt (@ the 3.33 min mark)

So if NASA could pass through this area in 1969 why are they now having issues?
