Solar eclipse from a board of the Japanese Hinode satellite

in #space7 years ago

On August 21 watched an eclipse not only in the USA. The Japanese satellite of tracking the Sun Hinode could imprint this phenomenon too, flying by over the Pacific Ocean at the height of 680 km. He has made a series the picture of an eclipse by means of the x-ray telescope.

I haven't seen an eclipse, but very much wanted.

You observed a solar eclipse?

Sort:

I was in the Lincoln, Nebraska area but the clouds prevented us from seeing it during totality, that was a bit disappointing. We did have good views before & after totality & had it occurred just an hour or so later the clouds cleared out by then.

That was amazing event!

haha, awesome perspective :)
