A new strain of the coronavirus omicron was discovered in 13 Belenenses footballers after the arrival of a player from South Africa, the Portuguese Crisis Staff announced today.
The omicron was discovered on the eve of the match between Belenenses and Benfica, which the home club started with nine players, while the others were in isolation.
