Soulful-Ease Prompts Unveiled - Episode #2

in #soulfulease2 years ago (edited)

Hey there! Welcome to "Soulful-Ease Prompts Unveiled", a series where I share the AI prompts used in the creation of Soulful-Ease content (my other blog). In this episode, we'll be focusing on Embracing Health and AI: A Journey Towards Wholeness and Wellbeing and the ChatGPT and MidJourney prompts that contributed to its development. My goal is to provide transparency and give you a glimpse into the creative process. So, let's dive in!

ChatGPT Prompts:

1.)

Prompt to establish the reference text of my "writing style" - a "snippet" of my "rough draft" of this introduction that I completed by myself, without the assistance of ChatGPT:

The following snippet of text (in curly brackets) is an introduction to my blog, and I will be refering back to it often throughout the remainder of our "chat session", together:

{Seeing as my last Introduction was rather... let's say "heavily ChatGPT-4 influenced", I'd like to show a little bit more of myself in this brief introduction about the "man behind the curtains".

I guess you could say that I'm really passionate about health and AI, as was mentioned in that introduction post, but since this account is meant to cover the AI side, I'll stick to discussing my draw to that topic.

As far as my background goes, I really have nothing to do with any of the advancements in the field of AI, nor any of the tech that has led us to this point of AI being where it's currently at. I'm not a "coder", nor do I know how to code anything above a "Hello world" message on a code prompt (is that even what it's called?).

So you might be wondering how, exactly, I'd qualify myself as an AI "prompt wiz", given what I just shared with you. My answer is simple, a LOT, LOT, LOT of experimenting with making prompts and testing different ideas and comparing results. Hundreds upon hundreds of hours of them. My answer is a lot of experience with actually getting in there and getting my fingers dirty with it.

What motivates me to spend so much time doing what some might consider such a boring or unsatisfying activity? Well, it's partly because of the real benefits that I can foresee this tech having regarding advancing our knowledge and tools to improve the health of the individual and humanity, which is an overlap into my other passion (something that I cover in a bit more detail over on this side), both on the physiological and psychological side. There have been a lot of talks about significant advancements in the areas of medicine and mental health treatments down the pipeline very shortly, thanks to leveraging the power of super complex and intelligent AI systems, and this has me very excited for the future of AI.

Another reason is that I'm just outright intrigued by the notion of an inorganic system that can emulate consciousness, and perhaps even one day achieve a quality of consciousness that is indistinguishable from our own (who am I to say?). I'm fascinated by the tech and by the possibilities that it may provide to us on the short horizon.

I just think that it's really cool that we already have a language model AI that is scoring in the 90th percentile on [tests that only the smartest among us humans are taking part in] (https://www.businessinsider.com/list-here-are-the-exams-chatgpt-has-passed-so-far-2023-1), and supposedly only inching further up the charts on essentially a daily basis. It really won't be long before we're talking about how much smarter and knowledgeable these types of AI are in comparison to our species' best performers in every measurable aptitude, and that's when I think we're really going to start seeing some amazing, world rippling, advancements happen in fields like science and medicine, but really just about every field of knowledge, skill and physical execution, eventually.

I'm among those (growing crowd of people) who hold the view that if you aren't aligning yourself to start leveraging the power of this tech at these early stages of its growth that you're at an extreme risk of being left behind, as the world moves forward towards the next substantial wave of technological evolution and revolution.

If you at all agree with my viewpoint or share a similiar passion, please allow me the great privilege and pleasure to provide you with content will, hopefully, give you some value regarding this exciting topic.

Thank you for your time.}

2.)

General prompt; used several times to "clean up" my grammar and wording:

Please ensure that you emulate the writing style of the referenced text (mentioned at the start of this "chat session"), while improving the grammar and articulation of the following (in square brackets):

[]

MidJourney Prompts:

An individual stands in a serene, sunlit outdoor environment, surrounded by lush greenery, with their eyes closed, deeply immersed in meditation. Their peaceful expression reflects their commitment to health and wellness. In the background, a holographic projection of an AI assistant hovers, displaying data and suggestions to optimize the meditative experience. This image captures the essence of the blog post, highlighting the intersection of health, wellness, and AI. The color palette is dominated by calming shades of green and blue, symbolizing tranquility and personal growth, while the light source emanates a soft, warm glow, invoking a sense of inner peace. The composition is balanced, with the individual and AI assistant positioned harmoniously, emphasizing their collaborative journey towards wholeness and wellbeing. --ar 16:9 --v 5 --q 2

Comments/ Insights

With regard to the ChatGPT prompts, I set my "rough draft" (made without the assistance of ChatGPT) as the "reference text" for ChatGPT to consult when I asked it, in the second prompt, to "emulate my writing style" while correcting the grammar and articulation of the specific text sections I wanted to rephrase for clarity and conciseness.

I repeated the second prompt multiple times — maybe five or six times, if I had to guess - on various sections of the "final draft," which is now available right here.

As a precaution, I always try to use distinct methods for indicating to ChatGPT what I'm referring to, in order to prevent any confusion with previous instructions provided during the chat session. For example, I employed curly brackets ({}) to signal the rough draft (from which ChatGPT could deduce my writing style) and square brackets ([]) to specify the particular text I wanted ChatGPT to correct and refine.

While it's possible that I could manage without paying such close attention to these minor details, I prefer to err on the side of caution and implement these "safety measures" to avoid potential confusion or overlapping instructions that could lead to ChatGPT misinterpreting my intentions or executing a combination of previous prompts when I only want it to follow the most recent one.

As for MidJourney, I have developed a prompt template for use with ChatGPT-4 that enables me to input my reference text (in this case, my completed introductory blog post) and receive suggested prompts for MidJourney. These suggestions adhere to the detailed instructions I included in the template, ensuring that the recommended prompt instructions consistently generate high-quality image results, closely aligned with the provided description.

In the near future, I intend to write a blog post detailing the process of creating this "MidJourney Prompt Engineer" (MPE) ChatGPT prompt. As the procedure involves extensive back-and-forth between my prompts and GPT's responses, I anticipate dividing the content into several posts to make it more digestible. Rest assured, I will share the exact MPE prompt I used with GPT to generate the aforementioned MidJourney prompt in the coming days.
