i don't want to vote 11% all the time though, it's usually when i like a post and want to acknowledge effort of author, but for posts i value more i'll obviously vote more, then struggle to adjust to 11% again. New feature does help, but only for consecutive same %.

Is there not a way to make the existing percent field editable?

Perhaps you can keep record of this as a low priority feature request, so maybe one day it will come?
