Pretty much through no one's fault, really. Yes perhaps a few greedy minds with enough will to rise to the top of the chain. As ironic as it sounds, cryptocurrencies are probably here to render traditional concept of money obsolete. I think the way the world is arranged right now is not conducive to our best selves. The "system" is not humanized. The time trap is spot-on. Most of us are actually creative forces and want to be part of the solution. But we're just stuck most of the time with a limited job scope, unable to feel the immediate contributions made to society with our intrinsic values.
Do you have a post up with regards to your stint with the inventor? Quite an interesting arrangement that I may want to dig my hands into xD
David Webster is the inventor I helped. He wrote a book about acidophilus, developed post-antibiotic therapies and dedicated 30 years of his life to this one thing: creating a toothpaste that actually works to prevent gum disease. (Crest and all that other junk is a joke). He did it......but he died in poverty and alone.
David Webster. He wrote a book on acidophilus, developed post-antibiotic therapies and dedicated 30 years of reaearch to making a toothpaste that actually works. I met him when he was about to kill himself:
His book was published in 1984. The fitness gurus ended up ripping off his knowledge and profiting off his ideas big time. All that yogurt crap that advertises "healthy gut bacteria" can be attributed to his work. Like many inventors, he was never properly acknowledged for his contributions. Here's his book: http://www.biblio.com/book/acidophilus-colon-health-webster-david/d/894395959?aid=frg&utm_source=google&utm_medium=product&utm_campaign=feed-details&gclid=CN37iJOwzM0CFYU2aQod5IcNCQ
Even the publisher ended up ripping him off.
Truly a sad state of affairs.. happens all too often. It's great that you're doing his name good
Well, I had little choice. A friend of mine at the time told me that David Webster was on the brink of suicide. I learned as much as possible about his invention then i decided I would try to help. He told me later on that I helped him from killing himself. He was quite alone when i met him and wasn't eating properly.
