To put it all in context i was a bit sad about the most recent school shooting, but in all honestly it is what is expected. It's commonplace. I seen the posts, read the articles, listened to the TV from both the left and right wing. The rights and wrongs of owning or dis-owning guns. But no-one that i know of had failed to mention that we as a nation originated from invading and killing Native American Indians and built our industrialized nation upon the backs of African Slaves. That is the American Way, our culture...
If we have a major problem we turn to violence. From the upbringing to our children to our neighbors. That is our culture. When we have a problem with a nation we start a war. It's plain and simple. So before another debate occurs with guns maybe we should take a closer look in the mirror and think on how we conduct ourselves with our family, our neighborhood, and our schools. Maybe to think that violence had been ingrained in us and that is what we as a society should focus on.
