This is such an awesome guide, @scipio! I love that more and more of us have begun to write posts like this, aimed at helping the new people find their way on Steemit! I recently wrote a post aimed at new Steemians as well, but mine was more focused on how they can join/register for MSP and start receiving all the benefits that membership entails. :P

Yes, the "putting in a lot of time part" I'm fully aware of: it took me more than 4 hours to write this post because English is not my native language! I can write okay-ish in English, I guess, but especially the eloquent vocabulary is sometimes tough. ;-)
PS: I'm actually getting direct messages all around for making it to the Trending Page, so I'll read your post about the Minnow Support Project thoroughly if I find just a bit more time!

Of course man, we're all about support at MSP! :P I'm amazed that this post has blown up even more since I last left that comment. from $30 to almost $100!! Good on you man, and now that I've seen that you didn't choose to power up this post 100%, you'll end up with some sweet SBD to spend on your promoting/upvotebotting your posts in the future to help get them to trending, which will help future posts blow up! :D I'm really looking forward to seeing more of these quality posts from you.
