Nice one, you did a lot of research on this. You are very on point.... As a socia media platform it is hard for newbies to be noticed at one but as time goes on and with consistency and application of a few methods that can change. Especially while using the point outlined in this post

Thank you, but actually my advice has nothing to do with SEO. It's not Google I'm explicitely referring to to be succesful within the Steemit community. Other social media tactics do apply however...
I understand... I was talking about the steemit community too... The only way to be successful here is to be recognized by people who are already on here.
But as an existing user you can always recruit new people outside steemit and form a community with them, most will surely upvote your posts if not all of them and become a part of your follower base.
That's where SEO comes in.
I agree completely on this though!
