RE: Thoughts from an airport

Thanks @anomadsoul for writing this and reminding all of us the realities of Steemit. We did a post about finding the balance last Monday as we after being on the platform for over a month (not a long time) we were being consumed by being on Steemit to not only create content but to interaction with other Steemians in order to 'stay relevant'. Becca is more pragmatic than Sam and often sets him straight and reminds him there is a life outside Steemit - and to live it. Not directing you to our post, but in it we remind ourselves what we did before, where did the time we have now on Steemit come from.
Becca put this towards Sam and he often needs to remind himself: "Looking at the upvotes and value of our posts often corrupts our minds. We didn't come on here to earn, but to share our experiences and so writing and posting should come naturally and take no more than an hour or two of our evening or day (since some posts we write on the weekends for the upcoming week). The rest - comments/curation, replies and Discord banter can be staggered throughout the day. The addiction is real, don't be drawn in".
It's a fine balance as we see the benefits and opportunities this platform can present.
Again, Eric, we're glad you wrote this down before boarding your plane. Have a safe flight! :)

Lol even as a team it can be so hard to find balance and moderation, I totally get it. You have the advantage that you use your fortes and weaknesses to help each other and that is amazing!

I don´t know why I wasn´t following you but i just fixed that mistake ^^

Thanks fordropping by amigos, I hope everything is going great!

It's takes two to Tango, right? Sam wouldn't do this blog without Becca and she wouldn't do this without him. It's tough work even in two, but like you said we balance each other out ;)
Yet, like anything if you are committed to something you have to overcome some obstacles. The obstacle can be addiction to this platform.
No worries about not following us before, Eric. We're just glad we found you!
All is good, Sam's brother is getting married tomorrow so excitement all around. Thank you hombre for creating such good content and have a great weekend!
