They are seeing Steemit and blogging as a job, an obligation, a must... instead of taking Steemit, Steem and the blockchain as a plus, something we enjoy, a hobby that allows us to generate money in the form of crypto.
What I think it happens, Nomad, is not that people consider it a job instead of a hobby, but that people who treat Steemit as an ATM start thinking with their Scarcity Mindset once again.
The corruptive power of money has programmed minds, and once people start thinking of Steemit as "Money" the programming kicks right back in.
People must focus on why this blockchain exist, and why decentralization came and why those with the abundance mindset are the ones rising to the top, dont you think?

Exactly man, if we think about steemit as an money tree we might end up burning its roots, we have to think about long term inside the platform and keep powering up (or at least not power down)...
There is nothing wrong in taking Steemit blogging as a full time job and to withdraw funds from your wallet (I do it sometimes) as long as we don´t see steemit as just a short term money making machine.
I gotta be honest, i didn´t know about decentralization a year ago and yeah, it is amazing how it can change your mindset man, thanks for droppping by amigo.
