When we talk about revelation, we refer to something that we know and that we shown at any given time.
Its meaning as we locate in the dictionary:
-Discovery or manifestation of something secret, hidden or unknown.

Now, as children of God we are we have taken her importance to the revelation that our Heavenly Father wants to give us or we have simply complied with that it be granted to others?
God in his love for all of creation, has been given to know all men by means of their works; This what we see in the teachings that gives us the Apostle Paul in the Bible in the book of Romans Chapter 1:18, this is what we would call natural revelation.
We can also speak of special revelation, which presents us with the word of God with the inspiration and illumination which produces the Holy Spirit.
Is what we receive through the extraordinary manifestation of God to our lives, producing a deeper and more personal knowledge with him, making us understand some truths and special purposes.
Personally, I think that we must understand, that the true source of revelation in our lives is God and that this source has not been closed, but it is open and accessible every day of our lives.
I don't believe in or accept "special" revelations that someone claims to have gotten from God. Invariably they contradict scripture.
