The beauty of the place does not depend on its belonging. In ancient times it was Greek. It's a good thing Greece doesn't stick to it. And we also fought over the Crimea with Turkey.

Yes, this only should be up to the people living there.
The rest of the world should respect this, I think.
I am not really a fan of new Ukrainian regime.

Oh, when I wrote the answer did not look that you are Greek. In the Crimea there are things that remind about Your country: olives, grapes, ruins of ancient cities.

In fact I am German but live in Southern Greece now.
Russia was my first option but more difficult to move which is quite easy now within Europe.

Certainly in Europe is better and I like Greece very much.

But Russia will have a bright time. Everything become better. Russia has everything they need to satisfy the (only) about 140 Million people!
Europe going to face hard times (I guess).
Fortunately very few people living here in the south. We all have big garden and enough food.
Little bit money to make online as long as we have something like economy and infrastructure is up.
I have no idea about the future of "Euro" but here I have to option to exchange eggs, tomatoes and paprika for cigarettes or coffee :-)
This make me sleep much better at night than I used to sleep in Berlin.
(but lets hope I am completely wrong)
