Late Summer Evening in Riverstone

Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, was founded in 1879 as a trading post that served a nearby fort, and later developed into a town. The Riverstone development in the southwest part of town is therefore relatively new, having been around for only about 15 years. It's one of my favorite spots, with interesting shops, a movie theater, restaurants, condos, and a beautiful man-made lake. It's a great place to go in the dismal days of winter, because of all the bright lights and good sidewalks for walking despite the snow. I also love to walk around that lake on a summer evening and listen to the ducks telling each other goodnight. Wednesday evening I was able to go on one such ramble, and took this photo while I was there.
