ATTENTION: The Rest of The World IS NOT YOUR MOTHER!
Others should not have to tell you how to behave in life. Given today's general rudeness and lack of respect for others, there must be many who missed the daily reminders I remember from my youth.
I am sure most of us lucky enough to have had good role models have general rules or principles for life we remember, either taught or learned by example, even if we have at times forgotten to follow.
How many can you think of Or add to the list?
Follow these simple rules:
-Clean up after yourself! (Leave a place as good or better than you found it).
-Be Nice. (Be respectful of others and treat them as you would want to be treated).
-Do not lie, cheat, or steel. (Honesty is a valuable commodity).
-Obey the rules (at least the ones that makes sense).
-Say your prayers and be thankful for what you have. (There are always those who are worse off than you ...always).
-Never give up...just find another way if need be.
-Never say Never or Always, except of course in the previous examples. (Learned this from medical school test taking - multiple choice answers containing "always" or "never" are ALWAYS wrong).
If you have other favorite rules you like to follow, or wish were used more often, please feel free to add them with your Replies/Comments.
We can all use some reminders.
And Thanks for putting these to good use!

Noticed people were still leaving their beer cans out at the lake when i took the dog out over Christmas. It always upsets me.
Yep. If they can haul it in, they can haul it back out.
