I saw this #smartphonephotography tag and thought I'd give it a spin. It's part of the #photocontest group. I have so many photos from my smart phone that never see the light of day, so here are some from a trip to the beach in Kuwait. Yes it has a beach and someone left a lovely message in the sand.
Not a particularly environmentally clean beach apparently but it has an interesting visitors centre. The scientific centre. this model gives you an idea of the area where we were.
There are many exhibits in the scientific centre including an aquarium with divers feeding the sharks. Nice and relaxing to watch. Seriously it is. The aquarium has some amazing lenticular tiles. Don't know what they are? Watch the video to find out.
And these snakes were doing what snakes do...sleeping.
It my travels around the Middle East it is no surprise to see dhows. This Dhow was just massive. It is in fact a conference centre and event space where you can eat and just generally wander about as long as you get permission.
We sat and had lunch and just watched the waves roll in for an hour or so. It was very relaxing. Then took a wander around the place. Another Dhow in the dry dock.
On the drive home I spotted this building which most people who have been to Kuwait would recognise. I've forgotten what it is called but maybe one of you guys can let me know in the comments.
And finally I took this photograph from the balcony of the apartment overlooking old Kuwait. The new city is all ultra modern buildings but this is how I will remember it.
The shadow is cast across the desert by the adjacent building to where we stayed.
And this is me getting a little arty with the ceiling features of some place. I think it was in the airport. It's all a bit vague in my memory now. It was a year ago and a lot has happened in the past year.

I hope someday I will succeed in steemit so I can visit the place where you have postingan here and I also want to meet my close friends in steemit like you @molometer and other friends but what might be achieved because one of my only hope in steemit

Those are all great shots. It took me a minute to see what is written in the sand. Seeing the snakes made me want to get my feet up from the floor. Ha!
It was a lovely thing that someone just took the time to write love in the sand. What a nice thing to do.
I bet they never dreamed it would end up on the blockchain lol
Hello @molometer. I recently came across the #smartphonephotography tag as well. I think it is awesome! Look at how amazing these pictures you just shared are! Our phones with the exception of a very expensive camera of of course, photograph very well. 😊
They certainly do. It is amazing the results that we can get from a smartphone. Mine isn't an expensive phone either. In fact it's probably one of the cheapest that you've never heard of. A ZTE blade 7 lite?
