What is a Negative Filter?

Negative Filtering is a common cognitive distortion, and most of us do it from time to time. Simply, it is filtering out all of the positive information about a specific situation, and only allowing in the negative information.

Personal Reflection:

This negative filter teaches us that in life, circumstances may be negative, people may be negative or you may be filled with so much negativities, still God can turn your negativities the other way around. It teaches us that there is still beauty in the negatives. For we all know that negative circumstances can make us more strong and courageous to face another new trials in life.
