Telkomsel was named the telecommunications operator with the best mobile internet performance in 2017.At least, according to the latest report entitled "Barometer of Mobile Internet Connections in Indonesia", issued a speed test application nPerf.
The report is based on tests conducted from 1 January to 31 December 2017. In total there are 485,455 tests performed on the performance of six operators, namely Telkomsel, Indosat Ooredoo, XL Axiata, Smartfren, Hutchison Tri, and Bolt.
There are several indicators that are tested, referring to the daily use of modern society. Some of them include download and upload speed, latency, quality of browsing, and streaming quality.
Telkomsel's best internet speed
For average download speeds, Telkomsel is dominant at 10.64 Mbps. The second position is occupied by Smartfren (9.60 Mbps), followed by Bolt (8.87 Mbps).
