Steuerung mit Apps
Die Steuerung deines SmartHomes erfolgt oftmals über die Apps der Hersteller. Dabei ist es in der Regel egal, welches Betriebssystem auf Deinem Smartphone oder deinem Tablet läuft. Die SmartHome Geräte besitzen in der Regel eine Android und eine iOS Version der Apps.
Das bedeutet jedoch doch auch, dass mit der Größe und Komplexität deines SmartHomes auch die Zahl der Apps auf deinem Handy zunimmt. Doch immer mehr Hersteller setzen auf die dominierenden SmartHome Systeme von Google, Amazon und Apple. So nutzt du nur noch eine zentrale App für alle deine smarten Geräte.
Sprachassistenten: Wenn dein SmartHome auf dein Kommando hört
Neben Apps setzte sich in den vergangenen Jahren eine weitere komfortable Steuerungsmöglichkeit durch: Sprachassistenten. Diese digitalen Helfer, auch Smart Assistants genannt, führen Befehle auf Sprachkommandos hin aus oder geben sie an andere smarte Produkte weiter.
Auf dem Markt dominieren dabei Amazon Alexa, Apples Siri und der Google Assistant. Die Sprachassistenten arbeiten dabei nicht nur in SmartHome - Geräten, sondern auch auf deinem Smartphone oder sogar auf Smartwatches wie der Apple Watch.
Die Möglichkeiten der Sprachassistenten sind sehr vielfältig. Neben der SmartHome - Steuerung zählt das Abspielen von Musik, das Beantworten von Fragen und die Navigation zu den meist genutzten Anwendungen. Leider arbeiten nicht alle SmartHome - Geräte mit allen Sprachassistenten zusammen. Die Wahl neuer Produkte hängt deshalb auch immer von deinem genutzten digitalen Helfer zusammen.

Control with apps
