Empezamos este SmartFriday en playa Hermosa de Jaco este viernes fue a las 4 pm en la competencia MASTER del Backyard Surf Series!! Los surfistas nos reciebieron con mucho entusiasmo logramos abrirles cartera a la mayoria de ellos.

Los finalistas MASTER son:

Despues de la premiacion nos dirigimos al 2do Meet up SmartFriday!! En casa de los Fisher Bros una comunidad de surfistas Entepreneurs y empresarios
logramos reunir 20 personas de la comunidad surfing local contamos entre los presentes con Varios fotografos profecionales interesados en saber como funcionan las criptomonedas.

Entre ellos estubo presente Happy Almond una empresa de almendras que tiene bien claro la meta de vender almendras ticas fuera del pais y exportar, es aqui cuando todos ellos se dan cuenta del gran potencial de las criptomonedas especialmente SmartCash ya que tiene una comunidad detras de ella ayudando a expandir e incubar nuevos miembros de la comunidad que deseen participar en este nuevo mundo del Blockchain !! y vender productos sin fronteras fuera del pais o en tu zona local da igual puedes usar smartcash para pagar en Costa Rica Brazil o Europa comprar propiedades carros servicios lo que tu quieras!

Ignacio @thewalker Empezo una charla de manera muy coloquial llamo la atencion al hablar de un metodo de pago para usarse en todos lados y que entre todos los que asistimos podemos usar para pagar por servicios o productos entre la comunidad local de playa Hermosa muchos de ellos entendieron la importancia de usar Criptos en vez de Fiat y le dieron bastante Batalla a Ignacio que respondio un lluvia de preguntas todas referentes a SmartCash.

Empeze a abrirles carteras y hacerles demostraciones de como trasferir dinero como recibir pagos cuales app funcionan en Android y lo basico para que puedan probar entre ellos smartpay tambien imprimi varias tarjetas SmartCard para hacer una demostracion de pago !

Tuvimos el agrado de recibir a un amigo Argentino Agustin Muñoz que nos deleito con un asado argentino 100% orginal desde choripnes hasta entrañas los que asistieron no solo aprendieron sino que hiceieron comunidad comiendo y compartiendo conversamos hasta las 11pm que nos entrevisto un canal Local de Radio donde estaremos saliendo al aire esta semana !!

Al dia siguiente a las 4 pm arranco el Evento de surf Backyard surf series donde tuvimos fuerte presencia nuvamente el locutor y Dj insistio en la importancia de aprender a manejar criptomonedas y porque a los ticos les encanta SmartCash agradecieorn repetidamente por apoyar el deporte del SURF !!

En un ambiente familiar se hizo la premiacion en esta ocacion recibimos un mayor apoyo por parte de los competidores que se vistieron de Smartcash !! ya varios de los finalistas tenian wallet asi que se les pago su premio instantaneamente !!

Se les entrego gorras franelas wristbands y stickers se les explico lo basico para aprender a usar su wallet y poder pagar en backyard por un snak o una bebida aunque la mayoria de los competidores prefieren ahorrar sus Smarts !!

El propietario y fundador del Backyard bar tiene una gran tradicion haciendo eventos de surf y nos ayudo de manera contundente prestando apoyo en todo lo necesario estamos muy agradecidos con Nick por su entusismo y por permitirnos patrocinar el evento e instalar el POS para que los finalistas tengan la opcion de gastar sus Smarts !!

We did this SmartFriday at Hermosa Beach in Jaco. This time we started the surf series first at 4 pm for the Masters category. The surfers recived us with lots of enthusiasm and we managed to open SmartCash wallets to all of them.

The prizes went to

• 1st Gilber Brown
• 2nd Roberto Vargas
• 3rd Joel
• 4th Fredy Quiroz

After the Surf Series Event we went to the Fisher Brother and started the 2nd MEETUP SmartFriday with a community of surfers, entepreneurs and athletes !
We managed to gather around 20 people from the local surfing community. There were also photographers amongs them who were very intrested in learning how cryptos work.

Happy Almond was present, a new company with very high goals en route to export most of their products. This is when they realized the huge potential of SmartCash due to the community behind it that helps expansion and incubation of new community members that wish to join this new blockchain world and sell products and services withouth borders or permission. Weather it is in your region or overseas, either way you can use SmartCash to pay in Costa Rica, Brazil, Europe or buy Real State, cars, services or anything you can imagine !!

Ignacio aka @thewalker started a talk with very easy terms and called the attention when speaking about a payment method that could easely be used anywhere and anytime. Including ourselves to pay for sevices and products among community members of Playa Hermosa many understood the importance of using criptos instead of FIAT money. They gave him quite a challenging Q&A but he managed to answer all of them regarding SmartCash.

I started opening wallets to all of the attendees and did various demonstrations of how to pay, receive, send, vote and all the features of the native SmartCash wallet to get started. I also printed a couple of SmartCards to make a little demonstration using the card.

We had the presence of Agustin Muñoz, a professional photographer, that enchanted us with an amazing Asado Argentino 100% Original from choripanes to Entrañas. The attendees did not only learn but reinforced the bond by eating and sharing together. We had an interview at 11 pm from a local Radio station and we will be on air next week. Everyone left happy and smarter and 22 new Smarties were born !!

Surf Contest

On the next day the Backyard Surf Series started at 4pm and we had a strong presense again. The DJ made lots of comment on SmartCash and insisted on the importance of knowing how to manage cryptos and the reason why ticos (Costa Ricans) love SmartCash. They were very thankful for supporting our beloved Sport!! Thanks SmartCash !!

In a very familiar atmosphere the prizes were handed down to the competitors. The open finalists were:

We gave them hats, t-shirts, wristbands and stickers and explained the basics on how to pay and recive funds in order to use their new Smarts at the Backyard Bar or anywhere they want. But most of them want to save their Smarts !!

The owner and founder of the Backyard Bar has a long tradition over 10 years doing this same surf event. He helped us and was very receiptive giving us all the support in all sorts of ways which was very helpful !! We are so thankful for his enthusiasm and for letting us sponsor his event, give prizes and letting us install a point-of-sale so the finalists have somewhere to spend their prize !!
