‘‘Set an aspirational hourly rate and monthly sales goal’’
A review from Harbard Business School found that the most successfull salespeople have their personal goals aligned with their work goals. But for sure this is a lot of goals due to the millions of sales professionals all over the world.
The logical thing to do is to set your goals on a time frame like in this example below taken from databox
The most effective time setting to me is monthly because you have enough time to judge and analyze sales data that is not too much at the same time, so you have a good toime frame not loaded with huge numbers.
In yesterday challange I set a monthly income of 400 USD with an aproximate of 15 USD per hour, so anually that would be almost 5K, taking into consideration that this would be doing a fixed amount of task in that yearly time frame.
But in an effort to increase those incomes inicially I woul test going for a 5% improvement on sales, that small percentage would allow me to have a good marging with again not huge numbers making it easier to reconsider in case of not getting to the fixed 5K anually.
