Tarot and Sleep Apnea

in #sleep7 years ago (edited)

For years I suffered with very bad sleep apnea and just couldn't get on with the CPAP machine. Whilst wearing it I had asthma attacks, continues eye infections and lack of sleep left me like a zombie.

I was told by clinicians that I was stopping breathing over 40 times per hour. If you don't use the CPAP they told me, I would end up with either a stroke or heart attack.
My gut feeling told me there must be other things out there to help apart from this machine.
All the hospital staff would say, an operation isn't guaranteed to work and its incredible painful.
Even though they could see I was struggling with health issues and had asked for the operation, they refused and gave no more advice to me.
It was thanks to my lovely new dentist not happy with my health at a recent check up, I learnt more.
She told me there was a device she could offer called a Orthodontic retainer. This device worn during sleep supports the jaw in a forward position to help maintain an open upper airway. These retainers can be used for snoring, (normally a sign of sleep apnea), alongside of frequent visits to the bathroom in the night.
Anyway I was desperate and decided to give it a go and this was the best thing Id done in years.
Now I am sleeping through the night with no problems at all, thanks to a forward thinking young dentist.

This had me thinking, why wasn't I told about this device before? So I pulled out my Tarot Cards, first came ,The Hanged Man.
In a reading this card is a strong message given from the universe that the option of surrendering is always open to you. It can also be the complete way to total victory. So this was true I had given up on the CPAP, asking the universe to bring me the answer. Next Card was the Devil, this is not a good card to have in a reading but I knew what it was saying to me. It was time to end a dysfunctional relationship meaning my association with the Sleep Apnea department at my local hospital.

As a clairvoyant, I now question is big business at the back of pushing CPAP machines? Is there some politician with shares in companies who make these? Could it be because my device is much cheaper to buy?.Most probably, lol, always follow the money, I say.
However I am not saying that CPAP machines don't work for some folk. My gripe is why are we not more informed and why do the clinics not give us more information???????!

I think you hit the nail on the head in your final paragraph. 'Big Pharma' / tech companies will promote their expensive (and often less effective) 'solutions'. Someone in procurement within Health Authority is obviously receiving a 'Kick-back' for buying their expensive equipment!!

I totally agree with your comments. What a shame people have to suffer for Big Pharma greed.
