We can measure our system by the compassion it shows to it's losers.

Crapitalism says get a job, or starve.

Absent the socialusts we would still be working 72 hour weeks, until we were injured, and then we could starve if we hadn't saved what little wages we did get.
That isn't easy paying rent to a landlord.
