Skincare Talk | Face Serum Guide

I believe there is no such a thing as ” right age” to start using skincare products. The first thing you need to learn before purchasing any types of products is about your skin type

Oily Skin

Normal Skin

Sensitive Skin

Dry Skin

Combination skin

Ageing Skin

Being that said, the skincare products I will share here might not all be a good fit for your skin type. From my personal experience, your skin type can change; but generally, it will occur slowly over the course of few years, like 7-9 years.

It’s a fact that we all want the healthy and glowing skin. I have to admit that I’m so grateful for my easy years of puberties. Other than looking like a stick figure with a puffy face, which half of it was filled with my bushy uni-eyebrows, everything else meaning my skin was doing Okay. Thanks to my mother who taught me how to start moisturizing and cleansing my face properly every night and morning when I was 12; my skin never faced any dramatic acne or pimple problems. As I got older though my skin started to change from normal to dry to combination. My t-zone (forehead, nose, and chin) started being oily comparing to the rest of the face, and I was getting little bumps on my t-zone mostly on my forehead. Yes, I’m talking about those little stubborn bumps that you could see and count them all in every picture of me, super annoying. I started learning more about my skin type by researching and going to different estheticians. I started getting diamond microabrasion and deep cleansing every month for almost a year and to this day I highly recommend them to anybody who has a similar skin type as mine. Last year, my esthetician asked me about what kind of serum I was using and she ended up recommending one that suits combination to acne pro skin to me. Hands down this serum/face lotion have been my skin miracle so far. As an experiment, I stopped using it for three months and I have to say, BOOOY what a difference it makes! Little bumps came back the third week of the second month and as days went by it got worse. So, yes I will never stop using it Again. Lesson Learned.

Let’s talk some basics

What is a serum?

Serum is a skincare product you can apply to your skin After cleansing but Before moisturizing with the intent of delivering powerful ingredients directly into the skin. It is made up of smaller molecules that can enter deeply into the skin and deliver a very high concentration of active ingredients. This makes them a great tool for targeting specific skincare concerns, like in our case acne pro skins.
Bioclear Face Lotion is a combination of three acids:

Glycolic Acid – The group of active compounds derived from cane sugar. Due to having the smallest molecules is able to enter skin deeply and easily. Great for treating fine lines, acne, blackheads, dullness, and

Salicylic Acid- Helping the skin to shed dead cells from the top layer and decreasing redness and swelling.

Azelaic Acid- is an organic compound found in wheat, rye, and barley. It’s used to treat pimples and swelling caused by acne.
