Skills Training NFT Collection

Finally!

After overcoming many challenges with an eye on the goal, making it through a pandemic while looking after 83 and 92 year old parents with their age related health issues, maintaining it all and holding onto whatever sanity is left, it's done.

Self study and working in the background has paid off and I was excited get to work on creating a NFT gallery for our Public Benefit Organisation.

All proceeds from the MESHOA NFT collection will go to help the remote rural communities we serve to build skills training centres in rural communities that are too poor and too distant from tertiary educational centres where they could gain skills to make a living from in Southern African countries, starting with Mozambique.

The training centres will also serve as community centres because the community should have a say in what they would like to learn and what social programs and services are required by them.

The first NFT in this collection is a promotional NFT that will be given away to help spread the word of our mission to encourage and promote skills training programs in rural communities of Africa.

I have always enjoyed sketching and decided to create NFTs of my "work" that can be linked to our projects so that our supporters get something in return for their contributions as a "thank you and welcome to our online community".

One of our goals is growing the online community in anticipation of the completion of a computer centre that will give the community access to join us in a safe and welcoming space. Where we can encourage and help those who have interests in IT and more.

The pedestal in this promotional NFT is veiled in mystery as the unveiled NFT will be part of our 2nd campaign where each supporter's NFT will be more custom and personal to the person who buys one. It could also be said that there is an "Easter Egg" in it as a clue.

Supporters of the upcoming first public fund raising campaign will automatically receive a NFT from the 2nd campaign after its launch.

Blending mechanics will also be introduced for the more permanent campaigns for benefactors who sponsor multiple times and want to reduce all the multiples of the same one into a more rare version of it.

I started with NFTs on the WAX blockchain but I will also be making NFTs on other affordable blockchains, like HIVE and MATIC (Polygon) that suit the requirements of average African communities better for daily use.
