- Hello, how are you all?
Today I will show you some of my happiest and most precious moments doing the sport that I love captured in photographs!
I am a skater for about 15 years. I love the practice of this discipline, sport or hobby, as you see fit. The truth is that for me it is much more than adjectives, it is a lifestyle that I fell in love with as a child until the last moment.
Skateboarding found me in 2002 when I was just a child at a video game site, I found several cousins and brothers playing video games when someone suggested I play a certain "TONY HAWK 2". From that moment I was amazed with the idea of being able to one day try something as fascinating as flying with a skate attached to my feet.
I had to wait several years until 2005 when a brother motivated me to put together a skateboard and my dad financed my first skateboard, which I remember as if it were today. I love you dad! I can never repay you so much love.
At that time I woke up a hunger to travel and meet new people and participate in competitions pursuing a dream which was to be an intentionally recognized professional skater. Which was increasingly complicated because the practice of this beautiful art was becoming more expensive.
This generated in me a change of perspective on my objective in this sport that agonized its existence in my country due to the crisis that began to be inclement with any type of sports practice that required the amount of its basic items necessary to carry out its practice.
It was there that with the support of several well-known friends on various trips and competitions we decided to organize a series of 5 competitions in total, in order to motivate the boys to practice skateboarding where boys from all over the east of my country participated for 5 consecutive years.
This initiative had a positive impact both on our community of skaters throughout the eastern part of the country and on me personally because life had led to one of the people I love the most in the world, Mr. Carmelo Barreto; my father on 08/29/2011.
These competitions helped me a lot emotionally because I felt that I was making an effort not for me personally but for a number of boys who had the same beautiful dream that I once had, that united us in brotherhood every year until it was economically impossible to continue making this competition that left me with many beautiful memories, new friends and an indescribable satisfaction in the soul.
Thank you to all for reading me. I hope you liked it!
Good Vibes for everyone.
