Week TWO and Six Week Health Challenge! Long Walk to Lake Palic!

Hello Steemians!
Few days back, while I was home for the holidays in my hometown of Subotica, Serbia, my friends and I took a little walk trip for the whole day. In Serbia, currently this is the warmest winter we have seen in a while, with temperatures around 12 degrees celsius. So we decided to take advantage of the weather to walk and catch up.
About two years back I decided to run a little personal photo diary when I have a chance, some of it I already shared here!

So, before I met up with my friends I did take a photo from my window in the morning because the sky was beautiful. See it for yourselves!

We did have a little scare that it might rain, but the weather report said it was going to be clear all day.
I didn't took any photos of our city centre because I see it every day, and we did the walk before I even found out that #coachben has a challenge. Luckily enough, with the help of my photo diary and my friend who did take some photos with his camera I am able to share this with you. I did ask my friend and he allowed me to share his photos with you aswell! These few photos are from our walk, and later on, when he left with his new camera, I did take few more photos with my phone so that explains the different picture quality.

So, the walk from Subotica to Palic is about 6km long, and the road is not that exciting nor inspiring to take photos of. But when you arrive to lake Palic you get stunned!

As you can see, the weather report was right this time! By the time we got to lake Palic, a couple of hours passed and the sky was clear. It was not warm enough to sit outside for a cup of coffee but if you were walking like us, you did not even need a jacket! Let me remind you that it is January!

Before we knew it the day went by. Walking and talking with lifelong friends is one of the things I like to do when I travel back home. It was getting colder and before we went back to Subotica I did take a photo of my own!

We took a taxi back home, but did take a walk again around our neighborhood. It was getting late and cold so we decided it was time to go home and walking back I did take one more photo of a cold winter night when there is nobody around.
