sad that a social media platform can't stay ad-free. but I guess the opportunity is just too good not to use for them

I think it is the way of the world these days. If it is done well and tastefully it shouldn't be a problem. Sadly most platforms forget about that.

yes, you're right. While I understand both sides, I also feel like a clean user-friendly integration that isn't too aggressive will probably be the best compromise.

Its times like these that make the advantages of no fees of blockchain technology a possibility to stay ad-free that I enjoy the most. Yet the platform remains as a community with a user-base that can accept marketing through posts but has the power to evaluate it themselves on a decentralized platform. Over time and more users & investors it will equal out all votes better is what I believe.

this will be a huge opportunity for businesses that work with instagram!

definitely - facebook ads are already a multi million dollar businesses and now instagram will join the game!

this looks way better than the current ads that they have!

much sleeker and subtler!

excellent information my friend @ sirwinchester'll have to open my account. thank you very much

of course, they always find ways to make more money... lol
looks sleek though

these are great news! finally no more "click the link in my bio to purchase"

they might as well just allow clickable link in the image descriptions!

I also heard that instagram crashed this morning because of the test run, seems like the system wasn't quite ready yet

yes I read that as well, seems like something wasn't capable of managing the new functions

that will be great news for all advertisers and online businesses out there!

it can be a huge business opportunity for lots of online businesses!

luckily they found a subtle way to deal with advertisement, not too aggressive!

yes I like the way that they've done it as welll, simple and unobtrusive

Always looking to make more money than they already have.

The future of online shopping! Brilliant channel for consumers to get a "mass feedback" before buying a product.

making it easier for everyone i suppose
