Wow, that's some photo. I'd like to see some more of these observations as you call them. Some time ago I've found a photo of stars with a statement "We fool you" printed on a T-shirt, accompanied with a comment that the T-shirt should indicate how the things are not as we see them (or better are told they are in the school textbooks).
Your photo depicts exactly this. So, where you see a face there is a spiritual being looking back at you (or maybe just making a peaceful general observation - you never quite know what they are up to) - that is no Stanislav Lem type of rocket repairing multiple development stages of an astronaut up there.
