That's a nice one! Too bad so many got so worn down with circulation but they were very well used! I used to be one to finish the collection but now I pick up whatever I happen to like on any particular day. It's more fun that way!

I agree, the deepest I went was my cent collection. Was targeting AU red cents, but hit a point where that got expensive. I may still try to complete it, but flip over to brown for color for the old stuff.

I feel eye appeal is the best way to buy, I need to like the art I look at. !LUV !PIZZA

Getting that 1909 S VDB was tough when I was younger, and the 1922 plain which I still haven't purchased. Red cents are definitely the best to collect but it does get expensive in the older coins.
