Since the big game is coming up in a couple days I thought I'd check out what kind of football themed silver rounds I could find. I have to say, there are way more than I thought there would be!
This first one is actually kind of cool. It's a replica of the coin they will use for the coin flip.
It's one ounce fine silver and limited to 5000 pieces but at $175, it's way too expensive. I wonder who gets to keep the one they actually use in the game?
This one comes with a certificate of authenticity too.
Looking around the Highland Mint website you have to be careful. It looks like a lot of their silver rounds are actually just silver plated, but they don't call it out in an obvious way, like this one , for instance.
"silver mint coin", ok sounds good it's silver, right?
Nope!
And they do say as much in the description:

Seems like a detail like that should be in the item title.
