Afternoon everyone ….

As you are aware by now, I have a stackers silver Christmas tree. This began last year, and is a work in progress. If I remember correctly, the tree had twenty two silver rounds on it last year. I bought a few over the year and began this year with twenty seven on the tree.

With several silver Christmas rounds as gifts from my secret Santa’s and friends from the platform I have added an additional four rounds. That brings the total to forty seven rounds currently on the tree.

So……

As I’m very known to do, I have been searching for these Christmas silver rounds on a few websites. My first search was eBay since it’s the easiest to navigate directly to them. I started looking the Monday before Christmas and specifically looking at auction listings only.

Why???

Because there was no way that these items would arrive prior to Christmas to give as a gift. Which in turn means they will not be bid on by as many if any other people. I found a few that were ending the day after Christmas and a pair that ended a couple of days later.

Instead of me missing out on them being busy with things. I put a ceiling bid in. A ceiling bid is your top amount you are willing to bid. Until someone bids higher than that amount, you win.

Well….

I won a few others, one of which I will be sharing with you right now. It’s a fairly old round being minted in 2008. I actual had bought this round already last year, but I gifted it to my girlfriend. So I happened to come across this one and luckily won it.

It’s a silver Christmas round with three adorable puppies wearing Santa hats on it. The inscription reads “We wish you a Merry Christmas”.
