Great win…..

Afternoon everyone …

I’ve been my spending my late nights viewing coins, vintage bars and vintage rounds on auction sites lately. The spot prices while they are remaining in the thirty dollar range of recent days, are too high for my buying zone. Vintage bars and rounds, as well as coins don’t really get affected by the spot prices.

I came across several pieces that I was interested in. Unfortunately all but one of them sold for more than I was willing to spend or thought they were worth.

But I did win one vintage round. It’s not a very common round to find. Up until it arriving I had never seen one in person. It was worth the wait for sure. Aside from it being a fairly reasonable price for a vintage round, it is also in extremely nice condition.

It’s a 1973 International Mint Corporation Mundinero silver round. In my research on this piece, which there isn’t very much available. The little that I did find said the original mintage was under 2,500 of these. It has a very classy design to it, and is in fabulous condition. There most likely is less than 1,000 of these around after all these years. And who knows what condition most that are still around look like. Probably not most are not this nice.

Another lovely addition to my vintage silver round collection. Hopefully at some point I can put them all together.

That's a nice one. Great score.

That is gorgeous! Congrats on picking it up. I've never even seen that particular one before, they really must be scarce like you found in your research.

Have you never heard of porn?

!lADYThat's awesome, @silverd510! A 1973 International Mint Corporation Mundinero silver round is like a real gem. I didn't do much research and didn't realize that they are under 2,500 originally minted and probably less than 1,000 still around! The classy design and great condition just made it even cooler. I'll show mine next week (if I remember, !LOL)

Some jerk threw a bottle of omega 3 pills at me.
Luckily my injuries were only super fish oil.

Ohhh

That is quite a nice condition of a coin.

If it has such a low mintage it'll be possible to resell

I like the type font of the legend, I think it's called Penman style in Calligraphy parse. Does give this coin character.
