The #silvergoldstackers community’s traditional Secret Santa gift exchange is on again for 2025. In prelude to this annual gift exchange is @silverd510’s customary imitative; 12 Days of Christmas, While it may be too late to participate in the exchange, participation in the posting of your wish list list or desired gifts are still welcomed.
As you can see on the photo above that my Secret Santa gift had arrived in good time and order. Today's Seventh day wish may be moot at this point but it can still manifest this Christmas Season should @punkysdad is paying attention. Personally, I think this next coin would remain very desirable in 2026!

Why this Australian Proclamation Dollar coin?
I should have mentioned this Perth Mint commemorative coin sooner in the same breath with the Scottsdale In Omnia Paratus silver coin. To my #silvergoldstackers community friends this piece would go perfectly with the pieces of my Coffee Table Collection but to my latest friends and followers I will layout some context.
My Coffee Table display varies through the year as guests do visit and the coins are a guaranteed conversation starter. Guests are invited to touch, hold, ask questions about why I display my coins where I can steer conversation from collecting, or finances, budgeting and good old macro economics, even taxes can be fair game. Coffee and pastries are served to prevent dozing off at the mere mention of Austrian or Keynesian economic theory. The subject of Stacking precious metals comes up should the interest continues in that direction and whether I can develop a certain level of trust with the guests.
As always, my guest(s) couldn't believe these to be investment grade silver rather than replicas of treasure coins or play money. I have them read the inscription "999 Fine Silver or Ag". Whether replica, re-strike or the reale thing the old styled Spanish treasure coins are a part of my shtick as the Bloody Raven, Pirate Lass. ☠️
In the following photo you can see for yourself that the 2025 Proclamation commemorative undoubtedly fits my Classic Spanish treasure theme. And the history behind this issue recalls the early founding years of Australia's economic development was being hampered by the lack of silver coinage. The Mexican Pillar dollar was proclaimed as legal tender by the governor of New South Wales as the emergency currency.
The old styled map of New Spain is from a poster titled The GOLDEN AGE of PIRATES from Bella Terra Publishing LLC, bellaterramaps.com. An acid free plastic laminate can be applied to this poster to protect from spill damage allowing for easy wipe up with a damp cloth. Eggnog spots, easy peasy. Mulled apple spice spill, gone. Pumpkin pie smoothie puke, no problem!
My Inspiration is by the original genuine Pillar Dollar
Allow me to indulge you of a new very special pieces and pleasure to own, is my second genuine 'Pieces of Eight' 1742 Philip V 8 Reales Pillar Dollar.
This lovely genuine Pillar dollar is the first type minted under Philip V of a coinage that lasting 300+ years as the worlds reserve currency. When I had finally disbursed my late Mothers estate funds earlier this April I set aside a sum for this piece to remember her by, Just like my late Roommate Deb with her 1765 Carlos III Pillar Dollar.
I am so thrilled to own this historical Philip V Pillar dollar, and this is why I would like the 2025 Australia Proclamation dollar as my Seventh Day of Christmas wish coin to be displayed next to it's original.

Physical precious metals bullion stacking is only a part of my personal overall financial strategy. Meanwhile, collecting numismatics are a different set of objectives and strategy. This is a fine old specimen in magnificent condition with very little wear. I don't think I will be buying anymore of such rare historical pieces as you may know how frightfully expensive these are. This will be part of a family heirloom to be passed on the next generation. My Hive account acts as my proof to descendants of their crazy but financially smart Aunt have provided the legacy that will benefit them.
And a practical record for my Home Insurance purposes.
I have a brother and two other sisters, two nephews and two nieces so far. A handful of cousins most of them in the East. A small family tree. I think my wish for Christmas of 2026 be a grandchild 🙏
And I've admired your sense of independence, confidence and self-reliance with the freedom to do what you want to do. Beautiful as well as generous, you have an unwavering strength in your faith in God, as a dependable friend and steady as a rock.

This Proclamation coins simply exudes the rich history of the Pillar dollar. A modern day tip of the hat to the iconic Pieces of Eight, as 40,000 Spanish coins went into circulation of a fledgling Australian colony that was desperate for specie. I could put on quite an educational show for my guests. 🎭

That's a sweet choice. I don't have coffee table pieces, but its a cool idea. But similar, I carry different rounds and will show the odd person, usually a server. My friend and I showed a waitress silver dollars, and then he set a 1oz gold maple in her hand. Needless to say, there was conversation.

I can imagine the wide eyed waitress holding the gold coin. $6,000 CAD of concentrated buying power in her hand. Perhaps representing a year of savings if she was frugal enough.
Right now a five foot Christmas tree stands on top of my Coffee table. This Proclamation coins adds more variety to my Coffee table collection and a new subject to my pirate historian repertoire.
Silver Maples are going for $95 CAD.
We can hope to wake more of our friends and neighbors into stacking before it's too late.

With my baking I will assume Santa to have no health issues but I would put out some healthier snack choices for him. Keto Cookies are okay but there seems to be something lacking in from conventional home recipes.
With the recent volume of rain I need not worry about over flowing of the Fraser river up to where my home is, only the water run off system is pretty good. The folks in my hood are diligent at keeping an eye out for leaf blocked drains.

This "12 Days of Christmas Wish List" is at it's heart a Writing initiative that has been practiced since the #silvergoldstackers community was formed back in the pre-Hive days. So anyone can participate in posting their favorite coins they would like to receive from 'Santa' without being committed to the Gift Exchange. Some individuals past have given a surprise gift without demanding anything in return. 👍🎅
The Secret Santa Gift Exchange is a separate initiative. It does require a commitment to a tangible gift exchange by contacting the individual organizing it after a sufficient number of participants are in agreement. A community notice will be posted in advance October/November.

This Australian Proclamation dollar is now up to $99.59 CAD so Santa better have deeper pockets unless he has his own Mint division at the North Pole. It's a perfect addition to my Pirate Historian theme.

With my sliding scale Dollar Cost Average strategy I'm stacking less and less coins. I used to get 10 to 12 silver oz. per $500 CAD, now it's only five coins at almost $100 CAD each.
The days of cheaper silver are gone, it's just less cheaper now.
The CRIMEX is losing control of bullion prices from here on in.

I just checked the price this specific coin but ZOWEEE!!! the price is $99.50 CAD. Meanwhile Maple Leafs are selling for 97.53 CAD, comparatively a fair premium. You realize this won't be much of a surprise when you get my gift at the Clan Christmas dinner.
