I got the chance to eat a fancy piece of chocolate topped with gold flake - check it out:
The chocolate was delicious but, I must confess, the gold flake did not do anything to the flavor profile of the chocolate. Therefore, while it may look cool and add a touch of class, it does not make it taste better.
Have you eaten anything with gold flake on it? If so, could you taste anything different about the food?

Gold flakes are mostly used for visual appeal and a sense of luxury rather than for their flavor. Gold is tasteless and odorless, !LOL, so it doesn’t alter the taste of the dish. It's really all about that wow factor and adding an extravagant touch to the presentation of food.

I have eaten food with gold, it has NO flavor, what it does is raise the value, I will NOT eat anything with this again, I prefer it in bullion hahaha
Gold chocolate is always full of protein so you can eat it as it has only gold decorations and nothing else It will not harm your health as it contains adequate amount of protein.
I haven't eaten it, here a social media phenomenon would eat it for showing off being rich.

There's no flavor to gold! Better to give it out in a vial so you can keep it! I've tried it, nothing special except for looks. There's some booze that have it in there as well, what a waste of perfectly good gold!
