Hello Readers
The British Royal mint issused 3 different new silver coins in 2015 & 2016 each weighing 62.86 grams (2.217 oz) of silver
They were advertised to have a face value of £100 but to buyers shock, UK banks won't accept the coins for face value, so people are now stuck with silver coins worth less than 1/5th of what they paid :/ Lets just hope for them Silver rockets soon :)
Please let me know if you bought one or what you think about this, Thanks, Also does any other countrys banks do this type of trick? Let me know.
One man even bought £30,000 on his credit card hoping to make some air points and use the coins to pay his bill. Some banks did accept the coins back for face value but soon stopped. Let me know if you found this interesting and feel free to check my other blogs.
below is a link to some more information about the british guy who maxed out his cerdit card.
